With Drew Langsner

This course is a condensed introduction to making Windsor chairs. Participants will be introduced to spindle turning techniques, seat carving, and Windsor joinery. The project will be a stool with 3 legs and a 2-piece T-stretcher system. Learning how to deal with the many compound angles of a Windsor chair will be a major part of the course. Carving the seat will incorporate techniques using a drawknife, spokeshave, inshave and travisher.
The $400 tuition for this two-day workshop includes materials, meals, lodging and use of special Windsor chairmaking tools.
